Abstract

|
The mixed tumor was first described by Kaltschmied on 1725 and clinically systemized by Billroth on 1859.
The mixed tumor is frequently developed from the salivary gland, especially parotid gland and sub maxillary gland, but it is rare in palate.
Recently we experienced a case of mixed tumor in hard palate which extended to nasal cavity. The tumor was removed per orally under general anesthesia and histopathologically the final diagnosis was confirmed as mixed tumor.
